Nearly 10 years ago, a group of incredible Ongar ladies set themselves an unforgettable challenge — walking the Great Wall of China — to raise money for a cause close to many hearts.
This weekend, that same community spirit is back in action.
A number of the group have set themselves another huge challenge: a 3-day trekking adventure along the world-famous Jurassic Coast, raising vital funds for The Princess Alexandra Hospital Charity – Breast Unit.
Why they’re doing it
The Breast Unit supports patients and families at some of the most difficult and emotional moments of their lives. Funds raised help the charity provide extra care, equipment, and support that can make a real difference — and this trek is all about helping them continue that work.
