Trattoria Italiana was founded by childhood friends Alessio and Andrea, who grew up together in Palermo, Sicily.
Their passion for food began at an early age. Andrea learned about simple, heartfelt cooking in his mother’s kitchen, while Alessio developed his skills working in a local pizzeria. After each spending more than 15 years in the culinary industry, they moved to the UK with the ambition of sharing the true taste of Italy.
That dream became Trattoria Italiana.
The restaurant is inspired by the food, traditions and hospitality they experienced growing up, with dishes prepared using fresh ingredients and recipes influenced by their Sicilian roots.
