We are thrilled to announce the return of the beloved Ongar Town Festival! Join us for a day filled with fun, music, and community spirit as we come together to celebrate our vibrant town.

Festival History

The Ongar Town Festival has been a cherished tradition since 2018, bringing together residents and visitors alike. This year marks our 6th town festival, and we’re excited to make it bigger and better than ever!

Special Highlights

This year, we’re excited to feature:

• Performances from The Nightingales and The Skafonics
• To celebrate VE Day 80 with have military bands too! 
• Epping Ongar Railway special rides to commemorate the 160th anniversary of the Loughton to Ongar line

Community Involvement

The Ongar Town Festival is made possible through the incredible support of our community. Local businesses, schools, and organisations have come together to create this unforgettable day. Everyone is welcome to attend the festival! Entry is free, but some activities will have a fee.

Getting There

The festival will take place throughout Ongar Town, with main event areas in the High Street and Ongar Sports Club. Parking is available at Ongar Sports Club, Love Lane for a fee of £5 per car. We encourage the use of public transport where possible.
