Epping Ongar Railway Real Ale and Cider Festival

A three-day festival at Ongar and North Weald stations combines great drink, steam trains, live entertainment and a fantastic family-friendly atmosphere.  On Saturday 25th July you can carry on the fun and sun aboard our evening Real Ale Train with cask ales and more aboard the vintage train.

In partnership with CAMRA, we’ll be serving an outstanding range of real ales, craft beers and traditional ciders, from well-loved favourites to unusual local brews waiting to be discovered. Whether you’re a dedicated ale enthusiast or simply looking for a fun summer day out with friends and family, there’s something here for everyone.

Alongside the drinks, enjoy delicious food, live music and rides aboard our heritage trains through the beautiful Essex countryside. It’s the perfect mix of nostalgia, relaxation and summer festival fun — ideal for groups of friends, couples, families and visitors of all ages.
