The Budworth Hall is also available to hire.
The Budworth Hall belongs to the people of Ongar and is run entirely by volunteer members of the Ongar & District Community Association, a UK registered charity.
The building is used throughout the year by a variety of clubs and societies with interests ranging from dance and music to sports and fishing, The Hall also hosts the hugely popular Laughing Chili comedy club and most recently live music events as part of Live at the Budworth.
The building can be hired for private use such as parties, weddings and family occasions, and also for public events, exhibitions and meetings. A fully equipped and licensed bar is on the ground floor to serve the ballroom and in addition there is a kitchen on both floors.
The building wheelchair friendly on the ground floor with fully accessible facilities and a platform chair lift for the few steps to the ballroom.
