Diesel Gala – Locomotive day at the Epping Ongar Railway

Rev-up the mega-engines at the 3-day Diesel Gala on the Epping Ongar Railway.  Running Daily between 25 – 27 September we will showcase our home fleet as well as two rarely seen and exciting visiting locomotives all weekend.

There will be a bar on the trains serving draught real ales, ciders and bottled drinks as well as food on Friday evening (curry night), and Saturday evening (Fish and Chips) services (both departing North Weald at 7 pm).

For a small additional charge there will be a chance to ride with the driver in the Cab of the locomotives and in our open-sided ‘brake van’ – all purchased on the day

These events don’t happen very often so don’t delay book today!

Tickets: adult day tickets start at £28 for adults and just £10 for a child (3 – 16 years).  Meals and drinks are extra.
