West Ongar ONG.R2 Concept Framework Plan Exhibition

Dear Resident

City & Country would like to welcome local residents to a public exhibition to provide the community with a further opportunity to comment on plans to build new homes on land at West Ongar (Parcel ONG.R2), previously referred to as the ‘West Ongar Concept Framework Plan’.

The Concept Framework, encompassing plots ONG.R1 and ONG.R2 in West Ongar, was endorsed by Epping Forest District Council on Monday 11th November. Since this time, we have worked hard to consider feedback from the previous public consultation and update the plan for City & Country’s parcel of land, ONG. R2.

City & Country intend to deliver a high quality, landscape-led housing scheme with a mix of tenures and public open space, with footpath and cycle links to encourage sustainable travel.

We would be delighted if you are able to attend the public exhibition which will be held from 4pm to 7pm on 22nd January at:

This second phase of consultation will enable us to present our updated plans and gather further feedback in order to inform the final design of the proposed scheme.

The next steps following this exhibition:

• Consider feedback received
• Continue to liaise with Epping Forest District Council and update our plans based on feedback
• Compile a final set of plans for the scheme and submit a planning application to Epping Forest District Council
• Work with Epping Forest District Council and other key stakeholders to achieve the best possible outcome for the application.
